Fall into love

I absolutely love fall! Carving pumpkins, apple cider, soups in the crockpot, leaves changing, and yummy desserts! Fall also gives us one more excuse to go out and buy some cute decor for around the house! Here are two of my favorite fall recipes for you to enjoy!

( )Pumpkin Delight( )

- 2 C (1 lg can) pumpkin
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 (13 oz) can evap. milk
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Topping
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts
- ice cream/cool whip
* In bowl beat together all ingredients except toppings. Pour pumpkin mixture into a buttered 13x9 pan. Sprikle cake mix on top. Press into mixture with fork. Drizzle melted butter over top. Sprikle with pecans (my fav). Bake @ 350 for 45-60 min.

+Apple Snicker Salad+

- 3-4 Granny Smith Apples cut small with peels
- 4 snicker bars cut up
- 1 can cool whip

Believe it or not, I make the Snicker Apple Salad a lot! It's so easy and no matter where I take it, everyone loves it. I'm definitely going to try your Pumpkin Delight - it sounds (and looks) awesome. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Rashel, actually I make the Apple Salad almost the same except I use about 3x as many apples. And sometimes leave out the Snickers (even though I know that's the best part :)

p.s. love the McCain/Palin banner!
