Twas the Saturday before Christmas

We cuddled on the couch all day long after some delish hot cakes from Mcdonalds of course!

We watched one of our fav Christmas movies "Elf".

We made cut out cookies!
(OK so they were the slice and bake ones from Kroger, but I tried to make up for that with home-made neon frosting and brightly colored sprinkles. I'm sorry Jenae, but they were all out of the Christmas colors!)

A.D. hard at work

Can you tell which ones are his beautiful creations?

We cuddled inside with this little one, seeing that the wind alone could've lifted her right into the air.

How did you spend your Saturday before Christmas?

Why I love this man

Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of some day living in a big victorian house. Creeky old hardwood floors, crown molding, a porch swing, and a large front window to display the Christmas tree in. You know, a house with character. When I came home from work the other morning I found this picture on the background of our computer from that sweet little husband of mine with the words "Some Day" painted in at the bottom.
This made me smile...all week long.

Happy 53rd Mom!

The kiddos loved this garage sale find rocking chair

We have limited toys here,

Get him Macy

Sweet baby Drew is so big!
Good times at Benihana's

This past Friday we celebrated my mom's B-day with some Christmas cookie making, watching baby Drew, getting a much needed pedicure, and ending with a special dinner at Benihanas. One word...delicious! We talked Blayn into going to this "Japanese McDonalds". He was not too thrilled when we walked in. As soon as our cook started throwing his knives and making sword balloons he was just fine!

"Rashel, I'm five now!"
"Give me some more food!"
Happy Birthday to you"
Mya loved her giraffe purse from Gma.
Mya posing for a cute pic Blayn's reaction when mom asked him to pose: "NO!"
This is what I found Sunday night.

We had a fun little celebration for Miss Mya this past weekend at Sauder's Heritage Inn. The family plus all her little friends, a fun time indeed! Swimming, pizza, a delicious Mary Mick Tinkerbell Cake, and some good ol fasion grub from the Barn Restaurant the next day!

It was a family affair this year. We had a great time at this party carving pumpkins, dipping carmel apples and pretzels, going for a hayride with uncle steve, eating pumpkin cookies from the doughbox (oh yum!), and having grandma spray silly string all over poor aunt Beth's house!
