Happy Happy Happy Halloween!

Hayride Fun
How cute were these until Blayn ate the tops of each one
Oh Braydon..always had the magic touch with babies
Don't worry...Jenae to the rescueA.D. and Kendra helping carve the pumpkins
Mom you look a little chilly there with Blayn and Austin!
How much for that doggy?A pea pod Drew
Proud mamas showing off Decklin and Drew in their hot pepper costumes! The lady bug looking rather innocent,
the lion wondering when he can eat again!

It was a family affair this year. We had a great time at this party carving pumpkins, dipping carmel apples and pretzels, going for a hayride with uncle steve, eating pumpkin cookies from the doughbox (oh yum!), and having grandma spray silly string all over poor aunt Beth's house!

Fall into love

I absolutely love fall! Carving pumpkins, apple cider, soups in the crockpot, leaves changing, and yummy desserts! Fall also gives us one more excuse to go out and buy some cute decor for around the house! Here are two of my favorite fall recipes for you to enjoy!

( )Pumpkin Delight( )

- 2 C (1 lg can) pumpkin
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Topping
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1/2 cup melted butter

- ice cream/cool whip
* In bowl beat together all ingredients except toppings. Pour pumpkin mixture into a buttered 13x9 pan. Sprikle cake mix on top. Press into mixture with fork. Drizzle melted butter over top. Sprikle with pecans (my fav). Bake @ 350 for 45-60 min.

Congrats Mike and Ashley

A.D.'s brother he never had got married yesterday to Ashley. It was such a beautiful day and we had a great time being a part of their wedding. We even got to see our cousin Ambria who was the photographer. Maeven (A.D.'s sister) also did a great job singing "It feels like home to me" at the ceremony. I had so many people come tell me they thought it was a cd playing because it sounded so good. My favorite part of the night....was of course the candy bar..how cute is that? Shhh! We won't tell my dentist that though, seeing that I had 6 cavities filled this summer!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game...

A.D. and I went to watch the Indianapolis Indian's play downtown with his parents Ed & Mable.

Pray for Nie

So I've been reading along following this story lately of a lovely family from Mesa, Az. The mother, Stephanie and her husband Christian were in a tragic plane crash last month and are in critical condition in the burn unit at a hospital in AZ. Stephanie's body has sustained burns over 80%, and Christians over 30%. Stephanie was known for her famous blogs and since the accident all of her readers have came out to support the family with love and donations during this hard time. Some of her siblings were interviewed on the Today show yesterday morning. You can see the clip by clicking here.
I'd encourage you all to read Stephanie's blog. Her overall joy for life has inspired thousands to be better wives, mothers, christians, etc. http://www.nieniedialogues.blogspot.com.
You can find updates on their condition, the kids, and the rest of the family on her sister Courtney's blog at www.cjanerun.blogspot.com

The Kiddos

"Don't get wet kids"

"Too late for that"

Blayn is part animal

Miss Mya being Mya

This past week my family came to visit and to see the new baby. They had quite a fun time playing in the fountains at Clay Terrace, swimming at the pool, and catching a bazillion toads outside our house. Today I found a few dried and belly up ones in the lawn. Poor things never got put down all weekend.

I was lucky enough to be Karla and baby Drew's nurse for the two nights they were at the hospital.
